Ellie & Ty
Southern Alberta Fall Wedding
This Southern Alberta Fall Wedding was such a special day for us as it was celebrating our amazing friends, Ellie and Ty!
Ellie and Ty, like many couples this year, had to postpone their original wedding plans. These two are nothing short of wonderful and their original wedding plans had friends and family flying in from all over the world to celebrate their love. After a few months and weighing up their options, they decided that planning a more intimate wedding was a pretty good plan b. We were so happy that we were able to be there with them and create all these memories of such an amazing weekend.
Clear Skies and Mountain Views at Payne Lake Lodge
This venue was so fitting for Ellie and Ty. Payne Lake Lodge is a beautiful property just outside of Waterton Lakes National Park. This area is so significant to Ellie and Ty and most of our friendships formed in this area hiking, camping and making memories over the years.
You couldn’t have asked for better weather for an October day in Alberta. There was not a cloud in the sky and almost no wind, which is rare in this part of the world! The fall colours that surrounded the property were in their prime. Behind their ceremony site, you could see a sea of mountains on the horizon. We were lucky to enjoy being outside all day. Playing lawn games, eating delicious Mexican food, and chasing after the many dogs that came along.
We had such a memorable weekend celebrating these two! Camping out in our campers, playing music by the fire and enjoying everyone’s company. This was a pretty special weekend to be a part of and we hope you enjoy a look into their day!
