Canmore Hiking Engagement
This Canmore Hiking Engagement session was such a beautiful sunset photoshoot in the Canadian Rocky Mountains just outside of Banff, Alberta. Meg and Miles wanted to hike up to an amazing view we knew just the place! On the way up to East End of Rundle just outside of the town of Canmore, you get to this beautiful viewpoint overlooking Ha ling Peak. Beneath you, Whitemans Pond creates the most beautiful scene, with the town of Canmore glistening in the evening light.
Sunset Shoot in the Canadian Rockies
As Canmore Engagement Photographers, we are always looking for places off the beaten path that may be a little quieter and intimate for shoots like this. When you shoot at sunrise and sunset, not only do you get the most beautiful light of the day but you also get these beautiful spots that may be a little busier in the middle of the day all to yourself.
We met Meg and Miles at the trailhead in the afternoon and it was a windy one! We love a bit of wind when doing shoots like this as it creates the most beautiful movement in photos. Meg brought along the most beautiful silk pink dress to wear which caught the wind and did just that! Although we all agreed that a little less wind would have been nice. We found some beautiful sheltered spots to share a drink and catch up about their life and wedding plans. These two are the absolute sweetest and we had such a fun time exploring with them in the mountains for this sunset shoot!
