Calgary Saskatoon Farm Wedding

 

This Calgary Saskatoon Farm Wedding was definitly one to remember! Winter came a little sooner than expected for this September fall wedding and left Calgary in an early blanket of snow. We couldn’t have been at a more perfect venue for this to happen. Saskatoon Farm is a beautiful little paradise located south of Calgary. It’s a family fun farm, marketplace and venue on the most beautiful setting. We have heard such wonderful things about this venue from friends and vendors but this was our first time shooting here. It really did live up to the amazing reviews. 

 

 

Courtney and her girls booked out a salon in downtown Calgary to get ready before making their way to the farm. The energy in the room was filled with excitement as they talked about the plans for the day. Due to the weather, they decided to move their ceremony inside the greenhouse. This is definitly one of the most beautiful indoor ceremony locations we have ever seen. Even though you are inside, with all of the plants and natural light you feel like you are in a garden outdoors. Their ceremony was guided by Courtney’s Aunt and wonderful poet and commisioner, Sheri D Wilson. She led everyone through a beautiful ceremony which celebrated Courney and Craig’s relationship. The whole room was filled with so much love for the two of them. After the ceremony, everyone headed over to the Red Room for cocktails while the greenhouse was transformed for dinner. We took this time for portraits and explored the grounds outside in the snow. It was chilly but Courtney braved the weather in her sheer dress.

 

Back at the reception, everyone was eagerly awaiting the newlyweds. The tables were set beautifully for dinner. While everyone was eating, we listended to incredible speeches from their friends and family. Gary Martin and the Heavenly Blues then took the stage and got everyone up and grooving with a three set performance. We had such a fun day celebrating with all these wonderful people and we hope you enjoy their story as much as we loved photographing it!
