Lindsay & Mason
Calgary Wedding Photographer
We are so lucky to call Lindsay and Mason good friends and we were so excited when they asked us if we would be the ones to create the memories from their Calgary wedding. Lindsay, having grown up in Calgary, had so many childhood memories from Heritage Park. Pairing that with an unusual fascination with trains made Heritage Park her dream venue. With so many beautiful spots on site, they decided to have a sunset ceremony on the lawn of the Price House leading straight into a reception at the Wainwright Hotel. They took advantage of this late ceremony by having a first look followed by portraits among the many historical buildings. The Heritage streets were buzzing with people attending the annual fall harvest market. One of my favourite memories of the day was watching all the little girls come up to Lindsay grabbing her beautiful white dress and asking her all about her wedding. I could only imagine her being one of those little girls dreaming up the wedding that she was now about to have.
Mason grew up in Ponoka, Alberta, and has some of his oldest friends standing by his side. Many of which had travelled from around the world to celebrate with him and Lindsay. Lindsay’s father entertained all the guests throughout the reception dinner as the MC, providing beautiful anecdotes of his daughter’s, and new son-in-law’s, lives. Looking around the room at all their wonderful guests it wasn’t a surprise that the dance floor erupted as soon as the band started playing.
Linsday and Mason, we can’t thank you enough for inviting us to document this amazing day and we can’t wait to have many more memories together in Calgary. Congratulations you two!
