Moraine Lake Engagement Photographer
As Moraine Lake Engagement Photographers, our favourite part of our job is seeing couples reactions to these beautiful places for the very first time. We are so grateful to be able to share the joy and awe of everyone seeing the incredible beauty that is in our own backyard. Moraine Lake has become very popular over the past few years, which is understandable, I mean it has to be one of the most incredible views you can drive up to in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The valley of the ten peaks seem to hug the icy blue lake making you feel like you are in some sort of beautiful dream-scape. One that you never want to wake from.
Exploring the amazing Canadian Rocky Mountains for your Engagement Session
Sanaa and Pouya traveled from Washington, D.C., to explore the sights around Banff National Park. Recently engaged, they were toying with the idea of having a destination wedding in the mountains and wanted to check out some of the amazing venues around the area. While they were here, what a perfect location to celebrate their engagement! We stared the shoot at Lake Louise. We set up a little picnic on the grass, took a few photos and got to know each other. Originally from Morocco and Iran, we could see straight away these two were a whole lot of fun! It was still early and we still had a bit of time before sunset so Sanaa and Pouya decided to rent a canoe and explore the lake. There’s nothing more peaceful than being alone on the water surrounded by mountains.
We saved the best for last and managed to drive into Moraine Lake. We climbed up to The Rockpile and went exploring. These two were happy climbing from rock to rock as we made our way down to the portrait locations. Not only that but they danced, twirled and jumped around on them! At the end of the night Sanaa looked down at a big log going out into the lake and asked if they could stand on the end for a photo which we’ve never seen anyone brave enough to do in a dress! We had so much fun creating all of these images. Thanks Sanaa and Pouya for inviting us to create some memories of the adventurous love you share.
