Tracy & Rod – Waterton Lakes Wedding Photographer

From the moment we met Rod and Tracy last year we felt so welcome into their lives. The two of them and their adventure dog Avery had their wedding in Waterton Lakes National Park, our favorite little slice of the world. We were welcomed into their family cabin the night before the wedding and we introduced to the history of Rod’s connection with the park. His family has been enjoying the little mountain town for generations and it meant so much to Rod and Tracy to have everyone come experience the beauty of the surroundings for their wedding. They exchanged their vows on the lawn in front of the cabin before exploring the rocks around the lake for their portraits as we watched the wildfire smoke grow nearer. Everyone came together at the Bayshore in town to share their first meal as husband and wife surrounded by the amazing decor of their camera collection and enamel camp mugs as wedding favours. We feel so lucky that we could share this day with Rod and Tracy and experience one of the last days before the town was evacuated due to the Kenow Fire.
We hope you enjoy a look into their mountain wedding and our thoughts go out to everyone who was effected in this widespread wildfire.
