As Waterton Wedding Photographers, we love any chance to shoot crazy weather in the valley. Waterton Lakes National Park is one of our favourite places in the mountains and we couldn’t wait to make it down for Katie and Jame’s wedding. The wedding day brought on some of the most amazing weather we have seen in the valley. The day was perfectly overcast for their outdoor lakefront ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. Thunderclouds drifted through the mountains in the afternoon making for the most amazing backdrops in the fields below Mt Vimy. We then raced against the sky, watching the rain blow across the lake. We got back to the reception seconds before the hail hit bringing everyone inside for drinks, beautiful food and heart felt words of the newlywed couple.
