Robyn and Eric decided to get married on Eric’s family ranch in Cochrane, Alberta. The amazing property looks over foothills and beyond to the towering peaks of the Kananaskis Range. There are really not many places in the world with a view this spectacular, and it was the perfect place to set up some hay bails and have a ceremony under a stormy sky. The weather could not have been more perfect with the rain just starting to come through as the ceremony ended, leaving amazing dark clouds around us as we took pictures and explored the property. Eric’s dad set up a hay bales ‘wedding cake’, and with his tractor lifted everyone up on the tiers for one of the most fun group portraits we have ever taken. Back at the reception, the bartenders were kept busy while everyone played lawn games and danced the night away! We felt so lucky that we were the ones to capture Robyn and Eric’s memories of this beautiful day and we hope you enjoy the pictures from this fun stormy day!
